Now, I'm not sure what people find "scary" in a horror film. Some people like thriller stuff (things jumping out of nowhere, tons of building suspence, etc. etc.). Others prefer blood and gore. And then there is the types of these horror films. You have your sci-fi stuff (not a big fan of this category but if I like one then it's for a reason), your "never could happen but still made me shit myself" scary, and then you have your overly plausible situations scary. I suppose it all depends on what freaks you out. I want to create a film in which it captures all audiences fears. Even if it just leaves a little spark of "omg" in the back of their mind. I want to create a newtype of scary. I believe my first goal is just to create one horror film, that scares at least one person, or evokes some kind of weird emotion (aside from this sucks). If I can do that, I can somehow branch from there. This will possibly drive me insane, racking my brain for ideas and whatnot. This is just a sample/ practice of editing, effects, etc. (The bad thing that we had to work against was the wind.)
